We have an extremely exciting announcement for you all... Agency Rush (http://agencyrush.com) & Crush Creative (http://crushed.co.uk) are very proud to be hosting a special film screening and Q&A with the man himself, Stefan Sagmeister!

Design icon, Sagmeister will be coming all the way from New York to Brighton, to talk to us about his new documentary, ‘The Happy Film’ (http://www.thehappyfilm.org/home) which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival this year. It follows Sagmeister, an otherwise happy and successful designer as he attempts to train his mind to be happy, through 3 controlled experiments of medication, meditation and therapy, an exercise which started out as a graphic design project 6 years ago.

“But real life creeps in and confounds the process: art, sex, love, and death prove impossible to disentangle. His unique designs and painfully personal experiences mark a journey that travels closer to himself than ever intended”.

This will be one of the very few screenings in the UK and major coup for Glug Brighton, Agency Rush and Crush Creative so RSVP now to avoid disappointment and join us on the night. Doors will open at 6pm so you can grab a drink and have a natter with your fellow Gluggers before the film starts promptly at 6:45pm, followed by a Q&A with Sagmeister.

Stefan Sagmeister originally hails from Austria, has worked for the Rolling Stones, The Talking Heads, Lou Reed, and The Guggenheim Museum. Exhibitions on his work have been mounted in New York, Philadelphia, Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, Paris, Lausanne, Zurich, Vienna, Prague, Cologne & Berlin. Along with his partner Jessica Walsh, Stefan founded, Sagmeister & Walsh, a NYC based full service studio that creates brand identities, commercials, websites, apps, films, books and objects.
