Fall Campout at Smokemont

GNHA Fall Campout at Smokemont Campground Group Site in the Smokies
** To RSVP, sign up for the waitlist. You will receive the link to purchase the $10 admission and then you will be added.**
This will be a fun and relaxed weekend of camping and hiking, as well as a chance to discuss future opportunities for the club.
We have the entire Group Campsite reserved (3 group sites). Each site can accommodate max 20 people (60 total). The allowed max of cars is 5 per site (15 total).
Active hike leaders will be given the first chance to sign up for this event before it opens for general RSVP.
Attendees will pay $10 in advance to cover shared firewood, along with some snacks and beverages. The reservation fees have been paid by the club. Attendees will provide their own meals and other needs.
We will also be having "Happy Hiker Hour" at 5pm Friday and Saturday. Bring some light snacks to share and BYOB.
We will have several hikes at different levels on Saturday.
The suggested hike for Sunday will be the 6 mile Smokemont Loop.

Campsite Details:
Smokemont Group Camp, Loop D, Sites G01, G02, and G03

Shared Restroom and sink facilities. For use only by these 3 sites (so, GNHA-only). Amenities: Each of the 3 sites has: 5 13’x13 tent pads, 2 picnic tables, and 1 fire ring. Restrictions: No RVs at group site, certified heat-treated wood only, etc. The usual NPS campground stuff.
