The hike starts at the Dairy Ridge Road Parking and Mountain Bike Trail System lot. Please note that this parking area is not inside the state park. Drive past the park entrance road and the parking area will be on your left.
The hike is approximately 8.1 miles and 800 feet of elevation. We will stop for lunch/ snack break at Johnson Lake approximately half way through the hike. The pace will be a moderate 2.5 mph.

The hike leader will meet everyone in the Dairy Ridge Parking and Mountain Bike Trail System parking lot at 10AM and depart NLT 10:15AM.
Hikers wanting to carpool can comment below. A suggested place is 3620 Pelham Rd. in the former Earth Fare parking lot.
Drive miles: RT mileage from Earth Fare parking lot, 3620 Pelham Rd. is 74 miles. Suggested carpool fee is $6.00.
