Nine Times Preserve Trail

(M) — Dean's List: Nine Times Preserve Trail

This is a nice wooded mostly level trail with some elevatation gain towards the end of our hike before lunch. There tend to be muddy spots after rains and there is usually a thick layer of leaves this time of year. There is a steep downhill from Cedar Rock (our lunch spot) so with these conditions in mind I suggest hiking sticks.

We will meet at the Nine Times Preserve Trailhead gravel parking lot at E. Preston McDaniel Rd. and Nine Times Rd at 10am. The trailhead is about 6 miles from Holly Springs Country Store. The Holly Springs Store is at the intersection of 178 and Hwy 11 if some people need to stop there. The gravel parking lot is on the right of E. Preston McDaniel Rd. and holds about 8-9 cars (no fees, no facilities).
