Challenge yourself in 2026 by coming to conquer the Table Rock Summit !
The hike starts behind the Table Rock Nature Center past several waterfalls slowly climbing up the valley to reach Panther Gap where we will turn right and make our ascent to the Table Rock Summit. Along the ridge we will stop briefly at the Governor’s Rock viewpoint before proceeding to the Table Rock Summit viewpoint for a well-deserved lunch enjoying the splendid views of Caesar’s Head and the Table Rock Reservoir. Be advised this is a steep hike with 2218 feet of elevation gain and involves numerous rock steps to reach the summit. We will hike at a moderate pace around 2.25 mph depending on the terrain and trail conditions.

We will meet in the parking lot in front of the Nature Center at Table Rock State Park at 9:15 AM to start the hike at 9:30 AM.
Please note if you do not have a SC State Park Pass there is a park admission fee of $6 for adults or $3.75 for SC Seniors 65+.
You can arrange your own carpool in the comment section. The suggested location is across from Mr. Salsa at University Square Shopping Center, 5000 Old Buncome Road, Greenville, SC 29617. It is roughly a 45 minute drive to the Table Rock Nature Center, so it is recommended carpools meet at 8:15 AM and leave by 8:30 AM.
