(MS) DuPont Mine Mtn, Laurel Ridge, Fawn Lake
Plan to meet at the Fawn Lake Access Area Parking lot at 10:00AM and depart NLT 10:15AM.

We will hike the Mine Mountain & Laurel Ridge trails, then we will hike around Fawn Lake and return. We will stop for a lunch/ snack break when we get to Fawn Lake.

Hike should take 3.5 to 4 hours to complete.

The pace will be a moderate 2.5 mph.

Hikers wanting to carpool can comment below. A suggested place is the Publix parking lot at 5000 Old Buncombe Rd · Greenville, SC. It is 2.2 miles north on Poinsett Highway from Cherrydale. Park across from Mr. Salsa Mexican Restaurant.
Drive miles: RT mileage from Publix parking lot is 68 miles. Suggested carpool fee is $6.00. Meet at 9:00 am, depart at 9:15am to arrive on time. If you would like to be the carpool organizer, please announce in Comments.
