(VVS) Yellow Mountain Fire Tower & Whiteside Brewing Co.

If you like roller coasters, this hike is for you.

This is a 12-mile out-and-back hike to the Yellow Mountain Fire Tower in the Cowee Mountains, just outside of Highlands and Cashiers, N.C. We'll be on the Yellow Mountain Trail for the entire hike, but you can expect lots of steep climbs and descents as we trek over a few mountaintops.

The highlight is a beautiful 1934 fire tower with panoramic views.

The hike should take about 6 hours. Once we're finished, we'll celebrate with a few drinks at Whiteside Brewing Company: https://whitesidebrewing.com
