Trail Maintenance - Bald Knob

Join us for a day of stewardship and maintenance on the Foothills Trail within Table Rock State Park.
GNHA is the "Trail Captain" for the 10 miles section of the Foothills Trail from Table Rock State Park to Sassafras Mountain. On this day we will be working to trim brush, install steps, and repair tread sections along the first 3 miles of the trail from Table Rock.
Tools will be provided by the Foothills Trail Conservancy. Bring work gloves, lunch, and plenty of water. You may want to bring your own pruners or small hand tools.
We will meet at 8:30 am in the Nature Center parking lot. If you do not have a parking pass, tell the attendant at the gate you are with the GNHA volunteers. We will try to be off the trail by 3pm
