Hike Description:
Plan to meet at the trailhead at 10:15AM so that we can leave promptly at 10:30AM. We will be doing an out and back hike following the Bearwallow Mountain Trail and then following the Wildcat Rock Trail to a meadow where we will stop for lunch and then return. We may get lucky and see some cows along the way! There are some nice elevation views atop Bearwallow Mountain. This will allow time to enjoy the views and our lunch break. Parts of the trail are quite rocky so I recommend using hiking poles.
This hike should take approximately 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
The pace will be a moderate 2.5 mph.
