Hike Description:
Plan to meet at the Corn Mill Shoals Access area by 9:45AM so that we can leave promptly at 10AM. This is a 6.75 mile loop trail, with \ ~900 feet of elevation gain near Cedar Mountain, NC. This is generally considered a moderately challenging route with one relatively shallow water crossing. We will enjoy some nice views at our lunch spot.
This hike should take approximately 3 1/2 to 4 hours.
The pace will be a moderate 2.5 mph.
