About us

If you enjoy Baroque chamber music (or think you might) and would like to attend live concerts with others, read on...

Baroque chamber music is a small but fascinating niche. Telemann, Vivaldi, Scarlatti, Corelli, Handel, Bach and others all composed during this era. Music evokes a range of emotional experiences, but we focus on performances that are uplifting.

Unlike newer periods of "classical" music that may sound discordant or overwhelming, Baroque music tends to be more harmonious, having a clearly recognizable structure, even if that structure is sometimes ornate (thus "Baroque").

Classical music in the Triangle area is mostly seasonal and Baroque chamber music is no exception. We may schedule some off-season events, but our main focus is on concerts that occur September through May.

We focus on concerts that offer general admission seating. This allows attendees to purchase their own tickets at different times, but still sit together. And when feasible, we'll include a pre- or post-concert social gathering.

You'll find that most members tend to be well educated, low-key, and open-minded.

The upcoming season will be here soon! To become a member, just click "Request to Join." 🎶

Note: We help bring music lovers together, but do not sell any products or services.
