Self-selecting teams, or how to let great people self-organize
What are the most common ways of forming the teams? Most oftenly it’s a managerial selection. The truth is people work best when they have a choice over what they work on and who they work with. Some managers though are worry that given the option to self-select, people will act like high-school kids and choose people they like and work that appeals to them. In this talk Nataliya, experienced Engineering Manager and Agile Coach, will share and retrospect her experience of conducting self-selection workshop as a part of the area reorganisation process in iZettle.

How to Pitch Your Features like A CEO
One of the quintessential job of a product owner is to create a shared understanding within the company. When the requirements are clear and everyone is persuaded to be on the same team, the customers win. But most of the time, this is very hard since everybody has too many things to do, there are too few people in the team and zero process. Martha Winata, a product manager and a startup pitch coach, will discuss ways to bridge this gap by observing parallels of pitching a feature and pitching a company. In this talk, we will explore the reality of short feature discovery phase and how that affects communications with various roles within the team.
