Go AKL: wrangling schemas, pdf oddities and ... an NZ conference?

Details
This is the first GoAKL in a while. Some said we were dead as a Huia. But thanks to the wonders of modern science, GoAKL is back, re-animated with lasers and little robotic gopher limbs, and we're only mildly aromatic.
We have a great line-up once again, including a special guest from across the Tasman Sea.
Lightspeed (formerly Vend) is kindly hosting once again for us, on Thursday 21st March at 6pm.
Talks and Speakers
1. PDF oddity: a dive into the strange world of PDFs, how to safely process them and generate good looking documents with Go — presented by Sylvain Cleymans.
Sylvain has presented several great talks at GoAKL, and he's created amazing GoBridge workshops too. During the last workshop, he even wrote magical tools for attendees collaborate and share results live. He's a wizard.
2. SQL Schema Survival Guide: Thriving with Go Amidst Database Flux — presented by Asger Noer.
Please give Asger a warm welcome, it's his first time speaking at GoAKL. Like many speakers before, he's an engineer at Movio. Asger has lots of ideas for talks, so hopefully this won't be his last time speaking to us.
3. Exploring the Desire for GopherCon in New Zealand — presented by Katie Fry.
Katie Fry, representing the tech community in Sydney, Australia, has journeyed to New Zealand to gauge interest in hosting a GopherCon event in NZ. Her mission involves assessing the appetite within the local tech community and identifying the most suitable location and timeframe for such an event. By engaging with Go enthusiasts in New Zealand, Katie hopes to lay the groundwork for a successful GopherCon, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange within the vibrant Go Community.
