Go AKL: Iterators, Wails and Plugins in Go

Join us for an exciting meetup where we delve into the world of Go, exploring the new iterators launched in Go 1.23, building a UI in Go, and exploring the different options for creating plugins. This event is perfect for Go enthusiasts, whether you're a seasoned developer or a beginner looking to expand your knowledge.

Movio is kindly hosting and providing drinks and pizza, on Tuesday 3rd September at 6pm.

Talks and Speakers
1. Go 1.23 iterators: Not yet explored the new iterators in Go or just bamboozled as to how they work? Then this talk will be for you! — presented by Yihao Wang.

2. Building UIs in Go: Go might not the first language you think about when someone mentions UI. The Wails project tries to part with that notion. — presented by Amir Laher.

3. Designing a plugin system: Ever wanted to allow users of your project to make extensions that provide custom functionality? Discover the pros and cons of blank imports, dynamic configuration and more. — presented by Asger Noer.

Event details
The meetup will be held at Movio (Vista) at Shed 12, City Works Depot, 90 Wellesley St West, Auckland 1010 - Between SkyCity and Victoria Park on Tuesday the 3rd of September from 6 pm to 8 pm. When at the City Works Depot, look for a Vista sign. This is also the Movio office. There will also be a Gopher on the front door.

Parking: It is free to park at the Vista office after 5pm. As long as you park in the designated Vista parking spots you should be all good. The spots are located up against the building and marked with a sign.
