Go Auckland Meetup @ Lightspeed

Details

Join us for another exciting meetup where we delve into the world of Go. This event is perfect for Go enthusiasts, whether you're a seasoned developer or a beginner looking to expand your knowledge.

We're very happy that Lightspeed has kindly chosen to help out with location, drinks, and pizza. Ngā mihi!

Talks and Speakers
1. Mapping Aotearoa's Birds - by Lucille Tachet
Beginner-friendly talk revealing how to transform Aotearoa's bird survey data into beautiful interactive maps. Learn to work with NZ coordinate systems, geospatial data and how Go can help!

2. LSPs as a side channel for Production Insights - by Matthew B. Gray
As our teams aim for daily deploys, having integrated insight into code execution in production can help contextual decision making. The Language Server Protocol (LSP) is commonly supported in code editors and has been standardised for almost a decade now. This talk discusses a prototype LSP to expose feature flag states inline in your editor.

If you have a project you'd like to show, or something in Go you are passionate about, then we'd love to hear from you. Reach out to one of the hosts.
