Hacking the Juice Shop: A Hands-On CTF Event

It's time for our first Go Hack Yourself "In House" meet-up event and it will be a CAPTURE THE FLAG event!🤖

Capture The Flag is both fun and educational at the same time, and a great tool to raise security awareness. You can do it by yourself, together in a team, or in competition mode against others.

In this event, Cecilia Wirén will start by introducing you to the OWASP Juice Shop and its Tutorial mode for beginners and a lot of challenges at all different levels, as well as guide you on how to set it up and get started with the hacking.

Speaker Bio:
Cecilia Wirén is a long-time coder at Active Solution and a well-known community leader. She has been selected as a Microsoft MVP for several years and is a frequent speaker at conferences and user groups. Cecilia is an organizer of Swenug, Sweden’s biggest .NET user group, and one of the founders and organizers of Swetugg, a conference that brings together .NET developers from all over Sweden.
Right now you can find her mostly in the DevOps space and she is passionate about secure development. Cecilia is dedicated to helping other developers learn new skills and improve their craft. You can find Cecilia online under the alias CeciliaSHARP.

To fully participate in this event, you will need to bring your own computer and have one of the following prerequisites set up:
Git (https://git-scm.com/downloads) and Node.js (https://nodejs.org/en/) installed
or
Docker (https://www.docker.com/) installed and running
or
An Azure subscription (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-nav/how-to--sign-up-for-a-microsoft-azure-subscription) and Azure CLI (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cli/azure/install-azure-cli) installed

The event will be on-site only and located at our Detectify office in central Stockholm with a limit of 40 attendees. The office is located on the 5th floor, follow instructions provided at the entrance :)
