PLEASE BE SURE TO PROVIDE A CONTACT # SO THAT I CAN CONFIRM ATTENDEES THE DAY BEFORE THE EVENT. YOU WILL BE UN-RSVP'd IF THE INFORMATION IS NOT PROVIDED. This doesn't mean you can't attend, but it does mean that we won't be looking for you or waiting for you if you're a couple minutes late. THANKS!

Hi all!!

This should be an awesome hike, but it's street parking so arriving early is a must! Arrive early, leaving yourself more than enough time to walk up from a distant parking spot. Restrooms are located about 200 yards from the trailhead, on the right when you're walking up toward the trailhead.

We will meet at the site, right at the trailhead pictured above at 7:45AM, so we're off by 8AM latest. The address listed for the trailhead is 501 or 510 Los Liones Pacific Palisades, CA. I have seen both in hike descriptions. Please note that there is minimal cell reception at the trailhead. If you are running at all late the morning, the second you know, please text me - 310-748-8965 (Rachel).

The hike has options. You can do a shorter, 2.7 mile hike with a 543' elevation gain and turn back when you get to the great view. But this also is a 7.3 mile with a 1580' elevation gain, listed as moderate. Sounds perfect for a spring hike either way!! For a great hike description, please check out :

If you are not up to the full hike, you can do about third the distance, hiking up 1.3 miles to the flat ridge with the bench with a view, then back down. If you wish to do the shorter hike, then join for lunch later, just let us know.

Unfortunately, doggies are not welcome on the hike. It is noted in the hike descriptions that fleas are quite common on this hike, so not sure you'd want the pupper along even if allowed. I've seen a lot of folks bring their dogs, but all hike descriptions I've seen note that dogs are not welcome. Sorry Snoopy!!!

We will head over to brunch at Duke's after, so please let me know if you're planning on joining for lunch. If we have a confirmed # for brunch that's >8, I will make a reso.

P.S.- Andy is leading this one, but I'morganizingand will meet everyone at the trailhead. I'veinjured my foot and am off the trails for awhile.
