Join us for a guided walk and scenic easy-grade hike through North London's green corridor. We'll follow the Lea Valley Trail from Enfield Lock to Broxbourne, hiking through Gunpowder Park weaving through lakes, rivers, and nature reserves, we stop at the historic St Maryβs Church, the legendary burial site of King Harold, the last Anglo-Saxon King of England.
This route follows peaceful riverside paths, with hidden history, and open green spaces. A perfect for beginners hike or anyone looking for a relaxed weekend adventure. You have the option to Join us at a cosy riverside pub to relax before heading home.### π Schedule & Meeting Info

Up for a challenge and a great nightβs sleep? Join GO London Hiking for this rewarding circular route beginning and ending in the historic town of Lewes. This trail includes three distinct hill climbs across the South Downs, offering far-reaching views to the sea and surrounding Sussex countryside.
Weβll follow undulating terrain with plenty of variety β and if your legs hold out, take a final detour up to Mount Caburn, where panoramic views make the extra effort more than worth it. For those needing a shorter option, the route conveniently passes two train stations between each hill, offering early exits if required. But we hope youβll stick with us until the celebratory finish back in Lewes.
