Lebanon a place where East meets West from the modern architecture of hedonistic Beirut to ancient ruins, centuries-old dating from Neolithic to the Romans, Phoenicians and Ottomans. The coast is home to many resorts and historical cities, the interior pretty villages, ancient, cedar forests, and vineyards, the spine, dominated by spectacular mountain ranges.

Our route winds its way through the country visiting the historic coastal town of Byblos one of the most sought-after destinations in the Middle East, famed for its ancient monuments, seafood, and sandy beaches.

We drive into the interior to the beautiful village of Bacharre our base in the Qadisha Valley where our adventures take us to visit tiny villages nestled in steep mountain valleys and hike the "Cedars Of God", the "Valley of Monasteries" and of course the highest peak, Qurnat as Sawda' 3088m with spectacular views as far as the Mediterranean Coast and Cyprus.

Visiting the well-preserved Roman Ruins at Baalbek and sampling some of the best wine in the country, we return to explore Beirut and for a delicious feast and our final farewell.
