Starting from the Anglo-Saxon settlement of Otford we walk through charming fields and woodlands, past the historical ruins of Otford Palace, and along the tranquil River Darent.
One of the highlights of the route is the chance to see the stunning lavender fields in full bloom during summer, a vivid sea of purple that makes for unforgettable scenery. We will take a short diversion to Castle Farm to enjoy the Lavender Fields shop before continuing past the historic estate of Lullingstone Castle, one of England’s oldest family homes still lived in today.
