## 🥾 Beginner Hike: Epping Forest & High Beach Hike
### 🌄 Overview
Join GO London Hiking for a beginner-friendly countryside adventure starting in the pretty town of Epping, right at the end of the Central Line. Within minutes of leaving the station, we’ll be exploring ancient woodland, open countryside and the historic royal hunting grounds of Epping Forest, once enjoyed by Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I. Our circular route follows peaceful forest trails to High Beach, one of the highest points in the forest, where we’ll stop for lunch and have the option of visiting the café. With beautiful scenery, fascinating Tudor history and no train ticket required, this is one of London’s most accessible countryside escapes.

MEETING TIME: 10:00 Epping Underground Station (outside main entrance)
TRAINS: Central Line to Epping (Zone 6)
TICKETS: Contactless, Travelcard, or Oyster)
HIKE START: 10:10 Epping Underground Station (outside main entrance)
LUNCH: Pack Lunch
ESTIMATED FINISH: 16:30 at Loughton Station Zone 5 Weaver Line Every 30 minutes back to Central London
