Gophers Ringing in 2023!

Details
Michael Moghaddam of **Polygon.io** fame will talk with is about parallelization and worker pools in Go. "The idea is to examine the benefits of worker pools and go over some different ways to reap the same benefits in a more Go-like fashion."
Given Go's concurrency primitives, this should be an excellent topic to see more about, I can't wait!
Also!! We had a late entrant offer to give a micro talk!!
Let’s about dependency injection! We’ll cover fx, a dependency injection library written in Go, and how it can be used improve the manageability and testability of your microservices. We’ll also cover the basics of dependency injection, how fx can be used to implement this pattern in Go, and why you’d want to do DI in the first place.
Presented by: Jahziel Villasana!
Jahziel is a software engineer looking for the joy in computing, usually finding it in systems software, half-baked shell scripts, and of course Go ;) He graduated from Georgia Tech in 2020 (Go Jackets!), and lives in Norcross with his lovely wife and ridiculously cute cat.
Polygon will host and feed us pizza.
We'll have some great door prizes! I talked with Miguel at Ardan Labs about the access coupons and he offered us a 100% off Ultimate Go coupon as a door prize!
I'll have more details soon when everyone gets back from the holidays, just wanted to get you all to save the date.
