Wakeboarding Sunday - Foxton (Manawatu River) - transport available

Not quite ready to wrestle into a wetsuit just yet so going to give Foxton a go. The harbour really didnt look too appealing I’m afraid.

This is a whole day sort of thing unless you want to join/leave part way thru the day. It’s a 90 minute (or so) drive to the river so we need to be on the road 8.30ish aiming to be on the river 10.30ish.

I can take 3 extra passengers in my truck. If you're catching a ride with me then you need to be at 16 Chilton Grove, Lower Hutt, by 8.30am ,or I can pick you up from Waterloo train station, or anywhere along the way.

The boat ramp is on the northern riverbank downstream from the SH1 bridge just before Foxton.

Cost? $55 should cover you ok for boat gas and chipping in towards towing the boat there. Chip in extra $5 if you're borrowing gear (wakeboard/vest). I don't usually supply wetsuits, there are some manky old ones in my garage so ask if you need one.

RSVPing - just a reminder that when you rsvp you are making a commitment, and reserving a spot that could be taken by another member. I do understand that things crop up that you can't control - and that's OK. But late cancellations often go unfilled as people make alternative plans - so please keep that in mind when you rsvp.
