Another version of the Language exchange outdoor meetup. Let’s take a foodie day trip out of Bangkok and explore the city of Saraburi, which has mysteriously got a reputation as Thailand’s Hainanese Chicken Rice capital!

Not everyone knows exactly why so many great chicken rice shops have popped up here — but one thing’s for sure: people now come just to taste and compare the legendary dishes!
But this trip isn’t just about food — we’ll also explore some cultural and nature spots together 🛕🌿

🗺️ Where we’ll go:
🥢 Chicken Rice Street Food – Downtown Saraburi
We’ll visit a famous chicken rice shop that’s been serving locals for over 70 years! 🐔🍚
*(The chicken rice in Saraburi is not Halal)

🛕 Wat Pa Sawang Boon Temple
A peaceful forest temple and popular spiritual retreat on weekends. Home to a massive golden stupa with 500 smaller stupas surrounding it. The main pagoda is 9 stories high and 50 meters wide!

☕ Campground Café
A refreshing riverside café where you can chill, dip your feet in a natural stream, and enjoy drinks surrounded by trees and mountain air. 🌿☀️

🌙 Saraburi Night Market
One of the liveliest night markets in the province! A great way to end the trip — with a feast of local snacks, sweets, and street food. 🥟🍢🥤

ไม่มีใครรู้แน่ชัดว่าทำไมสระบุรีถึงกลายเป็นเมืองข้าวมันไก่ได้ แต่ทุกวันนี้คนจำนวนมากเดินทางมาเพื่อลองรสชาติข้าวมันไก่เจ้าดังกัน 😋
