This year, the Kaeng Khoi Walking Street Festival brings a fascinating theme — “Retracing World War II”.

The event highlights local stories and connections to the wartime period, transforming the town into a lively historical setting filled with food, lights, and nostalgic atmosphere.

Before the festival begins in the evening, we’ll spend the day exploring some charming and meaningful spots around Saraburi, making this a well-balanced trip of relaxation, culture, and discover
🧭 Where Will We Go?
1. Coffee Museum (Phiphitthaphan Ban Rai Kafae) We’ll start our morning at the cafe where we can ease into the day with coffee or refreshing drinks while enjoying the vintage and classic decorations that reflect the history of Thai coffee culture.

2. Ban Ton Tan Floating Market, a well-known Sunday market in Saraburi, where we can enjoy lunch by the water while exploring a variety of local food, desserts, and traditional products in a relaxed riverside atmosphere.

3. Wat Tham Krabok, (Black Stone Temple) a unique and peaceful temple known for its impressive black stone Buddha statues set against a natural hillside. The temple is also widely recognized for its long-standing role as a drug rehabilitation center, giving it both spiritual and social significance.

4. Kaeng Khoi Walking Street Festival at Kaeng Khoi Temple. Here, the streets come alive with themed decorations inspired by World War II, along with food stalls, local products, show, performances and activities that reflect the historical atmosphere. It’s a great place to walk around, try different foods, take photos, and experience a different side of Thai local culture

ชวนเพื่อน ๆ มาร่วมกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนภาษา 1 วัน ในจังหวัดสระบุรี ในปีนี้ เราจะไปงานประเพณีแก่งคอยย้อนรอยสงครามโลก ครั้งที่ 2 ประจำปี 2569

ที่นั่นจะมีแต่งกายย้อนยุค ย้อนเวลาตามหาอดีตไปกับชาวแก่งคอย นมัสการหลวงพ่อลา เที่ยวชมตลาดโบราณ ช้อปสินค้า OTOP ชิมอาหารพื้นเมือง ชมการแสดงดนตรี ศิลปวัฒนธรรม และ นิทรรศการกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์แก่งคอย ชมการแสดง แสง สี เสียง สุดตระการตา

ก่อนจะไปชมงานเทศกาลในช่วงเย็น เราจะพาไปเที่ยวสถานที่น่าสนใจต่าง ๆ ในสระบุรี ด้วยจ้า

🧭 เราจะไปที่ไหนกันบ้าง?
1. พิพิธภัณฑ์บ้านไร่กาแฟ เราจะเริ่มต้นวันที่นี่ ซึ่งเป็นทั้งคาเฟ่และพื้นที่จัดแสดงเกี่ยวกับเรื่องราวของกาแฟในบรรยากาศสไตล์วินเทจ

2. ตลาดน้ำบ้านต้นตาล ตลาดน้ำชื่อดังของสระบุรีที่เปิดเฉพาะวันอาทิตย์ ที่นี่เราจะได้พักทานมื้อกลางวันริมคลอง พร้อมเลือกชิมอาหารพื้นบ้าน ขนมไทย และสินค้าในบรรยากาศสบาย ๆ แบบชาวบ้าน

3. วัดถ้ำกระบอก วัดที่มีเอกลักษณ์โดดเด่นด้วยพระพุทธรูปหินสีดำขนาดใหญ่ที่ตั้งอยู่ใกล้ภูเขา นอกจากความสวยงามแล้ว ที่นี่ยังเป็นสถานที่สำคัญด้านการบำบัดฟื้นฟูผู้ติดยาเสพติดที่มีชื่อเสียงของประเทศไทยอีกด้วย

4. วัดแก่งคอย สระบุรี กับงานประเพณีแก่งคอยย้อนรอยสงครามโลก งานจะเต็มไปด้วยการตกแต่งในธีมสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 ร้านค้า อาหาร และกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ที่สะท้อนบรรยากาศย้อนยุค ให้เราได้เดินเล่น ชิมอาหาร ถ่ายรูป และสนุกกับบรรยากาศของงานอย่างเต็มที่
