Getting started with Docker

Docker is an open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications anywhere: on laptops, data center VMs, or the cloud. It gives programmers and operations engineers a common toolbox to take advantage of the distributed and networked nature of modern applications.

In this session sysops veteran Diego Lendoiro (from Openhost, Spain) will provide an hands-on introduction to understand the benefits of using Docker. He will help you get started with a simple and practical example of packaging and deploying a PHP application.
