Make a Mixed Media Altar for Mary Magdalene

Note- we're deviating from our regular schedule and meeting on Sunday, August 10th, 1:30pm PST, on Zoom and in person.

Join us for another afternoon of encountering the Divine and creating your own personal icon of her, even if you've never painted before!

Katie will share information and a brief ritual connecting us to Mary Magdalene. Jennifer will guide us in creating a small shrine to hang on the wall in honor of Mary Magdalene.
Supplies provided in the Art Womb.
For those joining us via Zoom. you may like to have:
a box lid, a canvas to turn around or a something like that to build a 3d altar on
a central image of Mary Magdalene to use
glue, scissors, etc
flowers to decorate with (cut from magazines or paper/fabric flowers)
a small vessel to represent her chalice (a little glass vial or clay bowl or image of one)
something to represent the red egg (we'll be using beads)

If you're joining us in person, please avoid scented products and be vaccinated, and stay home if you have any symptoms of illness.
