"Fishbone Fan Veil Series"
Hello Dancers! Come join our newest instructor at The Goddess Studio, APRIL, for an enchanting new 3-week session! With over 20 years of dance experience, April brings mastery and passion to this unique series focused on the captivating Fishbone Fan Veil.
- WHEN: TUESDAY NIGHTS from 7:00 – 8:00 pm
- DATES: Starts March 3, March 10 and ends March 17
- COST: $15 (Venmo or cash at the door. Pay as you go!)
- ABOUT THIS CLASS:
All levels are welcome! Whether you are picking up a prop for the first time or are a seasoned performer, this series is designed to elevate your dance. We will dive deep into technique with props, specifically mastering the fluid, skeletal structure of the fishbone fan veil. While we will break down essential movements, this series places a special emphasis on improvisation. You will learn how to "listen" to the music and let the silk follow your lead, building the confidence to dance freely and authentically. Our goal is to blend technical precision with the joy of spontaneous movement.
- ABOUT APRIL:
April is the newest addition to The Goddess Studio instructor roster, arriving with 20+ years of professional dance experience that began at the studio all those years ago! Known for her elegant prop work, expressive storytelling, and energetic spins, she specializes in helping students find their own unique voice within traditional forms. She is thrilled to share her expertise and help you shine like a goddess!
