Summer Solstice Fire Ceremony

Namaste and Blessed Be Everyone! After a long hiatus to do shadow and healing work, I'm back in action :) Let's get things restarted by manifesting with the Power of the Summer Solstice Fire Ceremony.

Summer is just about here and the Sun is already lavishing us with energizing extra hours of empowering light. After surviving the pandemic and its aftereffects, we may be feeling a bit drained. The summer solstice gives us the opportunity to renew ourselves with vitality, power, riches, and good health among other things. I chose to do the ceremony on the Tuesday before to bring us the extra invigorating energy of Mars. Combining these two powerhouses can help you to revitalize whatever area in your life needs renewing.

Some of you may just want things to return to normal in your life but Mars also brings new life force energy as well as protection. So for those of you who don’t want things to go back to “normal” and want new beginnings instead, this is an excellent time to manifest those new beginnings. For many of us, the pandemic was the literal translation of the tower card on steroids. To help build or rebuild, let's bring in the energy of the Sun and Mars.

First, decide what area of your life needs strength and vitality. Does your bank account need some fresh life? Your love life? Your physical health? Does your emotional health need uplifting?
What areas need protection? Your health? Your income? Your family?
Here is a spell you can do for the summer solstice to bring in power and protection all season.

You will need:
1 orange or yellow household candle to represent the Sun, (I like orange).
1 red household candle to represent Mars
A printout of the tarot Sun card
A mason jar
Offerings such as an orange, sunflowers, cinnamon, honey, or the offerings of your choice
On the back of the Sun card, start by writing a petition to the Sun, asking for vitalizing or revitalizing, and empowering energy in the areas of your life that you choose.
Underneath, write a petition to Mars, asking for protection in the areas of your life that you feel need protection. Take a picture of the petition so you will have it to read.
Tape the printout of the Sun card onto the mason jar.
Place the red candle and orange candle next to each other in the mason jar. Feel free to anoint the candles with essential oils like orange oil for the Sun and dragon’s blood for Mars. It's not a requirement but gives extra honor to both.
Place your jar on a plate and surround it with your offerings.
I will be doing a live fire ceremony to bring us blessings and manifest our wishes.
