This event will be a cosy Meet & Greet for Game Creators of all trades and those aspiring to become one. 🌱🌳
Regardless if you are an Artist, Designer, Programmer, total Beginner or anything in between: join us for sharing knowledge, creating art together, coding together, joining game jams together and having fun! 🌟🌼
It also does not matter which engine you are using, or if you are using any engine at all: We are eager to see your awesome projects! ✨🎉
The free and open-source Godot game engine will however remain our anchor point and primary focus of attention. 🦾🚀
Agenda
- At the beginning we will mingle for half an hour and have a short round of introductions with a theme question. 👋💬
- Then we will have block of demos/lighting talks, which can be anything you want to show or talk about for up to 5 Minutes. 🎮✨
For example:
- Giving a short educational presentation about a Game Creation topic.
- Showing off the current state of your game, art or soundtrack, whether it's been shown before or you want to highlight your progress, or ask for feedback/playtesting.
- Asking for help or input with something where you are stuck or need ideas.
- Showing off a game that was made with Godot and that you enjoy or are impressed by.
- Showing off aspects of games that you find intriguing, no matter the engine.
- And whatever else you can come up with to show in 5 minutes that may spark interest.
- Afterwards we will hang out, chat and maybe get a drink at ScuBar downstairs in the basement! 🦜🍻
