Details

In partnership with the Poetry Foundation, European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) presents a multilingual poetry reading. Continuing the collaboration from last year’s event Chicago Transatlantic, we celebrate cultural exchange and the expansive linguistic diversity of Chicago.

Featured readers include Marius Burokas, Clare Cavanagh, Annemarie Ní Churreáin, and Lin Hierse, and poems will be read in German, Irish, Lithuanian, and Polish. English translations will be projected throughout.

This program is presented in partnership with Chicago’s Consulate General of the Republic of Lithuania, Consulate General of Ireland, Consulate General of the Republic of Poland, the Goethe-Institut Chicago, and the Villa Albertine.
