German Couch-Kino: "Sommerhäuser"

We are showing German movies (with English subtitles) in the cosy atmosphere of our Bergbühne. The Bergbühne is as big as a living room - so come early to secure the most comfortable seat and the tastiest bag of free popcorn.

🎬Summer 1976: Bernd drives with his wife and two children to the summer house of his grandmother, who has just died. Numerous family members gather on the almost park-like property. The holiday is clouded from the start: an ancient tree has been felled by lightning, the electricity supply does not work properly. On the radio comes news of a girl missing in the area; later her body will be found. While the children do not always run around peacefully, the adults begin to argue about the inheritance... what is to become of the property? SOMMERHÄUSER tells the story of the loss of an idyll.
