Christmas is back! What will you do for your Christmas? If you are looking for something special and interesting thing for your Christmas then join us and let’s make a great memory of this year’s Christmas together. We are going to travel to the place where North and South Han rivers come together. The place offers a great opportunity for us to enjoy our time and create fun and exciting environment.
We are going to take the rail bike along the beautiful North Han river. Let me tell you a bit about what rail bike is. The rail bike is that the the old train tracks had been turned into a exciting ride in the beautiful countryside. 4 person bike is being used to run on the tracks and you need to pedal the rail bike to go forward and it is great fun. You will enjoy the great sense of speed and dynamic movement of the rail bike while you are pedaling in the beautiful nature. Rail Bike is a great way to spend your time in the nature with friends.
The rail bike tour route is featured in the Korean film ‘The Letter (편지, 1997)’, and thus loved by both love birds and photographers who like to capture some beautiful scenes along the old rail bike track. Visitors on the bikes will also get to enjoy the beautiful river view presented below the bridge while riding, as well as taking advantage of having a light exercise with your new friends.

Our guest house is closely located by the river and the Garden of Morning Calm where we will be joining for the Christmas lighting festival at night. The Garden of Morning Calm s lighting festival is the biggest festival of lights in South Korea with over 30,000 lights illuminated and it gives a spectacular view at night. The gleaming lights add a festive glow to the garden during the winter season. The garden is sitting and surrounded by the mountains and the unique display of the Garden lighting view is fantastic. You will be able to enjoy the spectacular display of awesome yet very colorful lighting everywhere in the garden.

Since it is Christmas, we will play a gift exchange game. Giving and receiving a Christmas gift will give us fun and memorable time. To play this game, everybody needs to bring a warped gift. Everybody will get a chance to pick a gift and it will be interesting to see who will pick your gift and what gift you will get.
We are going to stop by to buy your drinks, snacks etc for your Christmas party. You can bring your own food and drink if you like.
Preparations: Camera, water bottle, extra socks,clothes, toiletry, gloves, money for food and drink, etc

Please arrive 10 minutes early to the meeting point as you may pop in toilet, buy coffee and/or breakfast etc.

Dec 24th

– Pick up at 10. 00am at exit 3 outside of Hongik Univ station. You’ll need to U turn when coming out from exit 3 and walk about 50 meters. You will see Goh Travel Korea sign on the Bus there.( Our chartered bus will there early, so you can sit and wait on the bus if you arrive early)

– Pick up at 10.40am at exit 14 outside of Seoul National University of Education (If you arrive early you can wait insdie the station and get to the bus at around 9.40am)

– 11.10am-20am: 11.10-11.20am: exit 1, outside of Yeongtong station in Suwon( Bundang line – close to Bundang)( You can wait in front of Homeplus supermarket)
– 12.30-13.00pm: Arriving at Rail bike place
– 14.00pm-15.00pm: Take rail bike
– 15.30pm: Check into our guest house
– 17.30pm-18.30pm: Dinner( not included)
– 7.30pm-9.30pm: Tour of Christmas lighting festival
– 20.00pm: Gift exchange game and party

Dec. 25th( Sunday)
– 9.00am: Breakfast ( We will have muffins, tea, coffee and ramyeon as well as leftover food)
– 10.30am: Depart from guest house to Seoul
– 11.30am-12.00pm: Drop off at Yeongtong station
– 12.30-40pm: Frop off at Seoul national university of education
– 13.00pm:Drop off at Hongik univ station

How to sign up and pay for trip:

There basic fee is 93,000 won and 98,000 won after Dec 15th. The fee included round trip chartered bus, shared guest house, entrance fee for garden of morning calm, rail bike fee, breakfast and tour guide
Please transfer the fee from your Korean bank account via an ATM or an internet banking . Also, you can go into any bank in Korea to pay your trip fee by bank transfer if you don’t have a Korean bank account.
