Volunteers Needed for School Supply Distribution Weekend- Event 2!

Back to School Heart-Reach, Sun. Aug. 3, 2-6PM, 6 volunteers are needed. We will be helping the Iron Sharp Foundation at one of their six school supply events helping approx. 5000 of the unhoused and Title 1 students in the Denver Metro area. We will be helping distribute the school supplies at Centennial Park which is South of Cherry Creek State Park in Centennial. The back-to-school season is a critical time for families in need! This is our second school supply event this weekend to try to help those families get their children ready for school.
We will be assisting our sponsoring organization, SVGD (Single Volunteers of Greater Denver) with this event. We will, once again, be Going Out For A very Good Cause! If this is your first time volunteering with our group please watch your messages on this site so I can get your email address to email the details and exchange phone numbers in case you have any problems finding our volunteer group.
