Volunteers Needed for Food Packaging at Food Pantry!

Food Packaging for Food Pantry, Sat. April 11, 9:30-11:30AM, 8 volunteers are needed.( This event is on Waiting list status. If you sign up you will only be contacted if we have a volunteer cancellation). This will be our first time assisting at this event. The event will be set up by 9:30AM so we can package the food at 9:30AM that will be handed out starting at 11:30AM. This is our first time assisting at this event which is located at the Denver Islamic Food Pantry near Monaco/Warren in Denver. The pantry provides essential support to those facing food insecurity. It is open by appointment for everyone to take what they need, when they need it. They distribute items such as grains, canned goods, fruits & vegetables, and often other household staples like diapers and wipes.
We will be helping our sponsoring organization, SVGD (Single Volunteers of Greater Denver) with this event and, once again, will be Going Out For A very Good Cause!
