Tree Care and Invasive Species Removal

Local group, Tree Pittsburgh, has been caring for this reforestation site that is recovering from years of neighbors dumping there. Additionally, the invasive plant knotweed is taking over. Sierra Club is joining Tree Pittsburgh to replant the site and needs help caring for the young trees that have been planted, as well as removing the knotweed. Training and tools are included in this event.
We will meet at the parking lot at the corner of Negley Run Blvd and E Liberty Blvd. From there we will walk about 5 minutes down Negley Run Blvd to our site at the edge of Highland Park.
