===[ TALK Agenda ]===================================================
10:15 to 11:00: Building self hosted lambda
Building a functions as a service platform in Go from first principles
Serverless platforms feel magical, but the internals are notoriously opaque. This session walks through LiteFunctions — an educational, operator-driven implementation of a Lambda-style FaaS built entirely on Kubernetes. We’ll explore how functions are packaged, invoked, scaled, and isolated, and connect these ideas to the architectural patterns used in platforms like AWS Lambda, Knative, and OpenFaaS. If you’ve ever wanted to truly understand how a FaaS platform works under the hood, this talk makes the invisible visible.
Ashu Pednekar-Sr. software @ Rippling
