Golang Talks @ Pivot+Mark
Details
Hello Bristol Gophers 👋!
We're super excited to continue our series of Golang talks.
Speakers:
🗣️ Subhomoy Haldar - Set Theory for Gophers
A gentle introduction to set theory and how we solve real-world problems with it.
Subhomoy is a software developer, published author, researcher, and designer. When he's not working full time, he's writing educational content he wished he had when he was younger.
🗣️ Ed Crewe - My First Kubecon - a Gopher's view of the Cloud Natives
Ed was lucky enough to have a talk accepted for KubeCon USA 2024 co-located event, AppDeveloperCon, in Salt Lake City.
Which grants an all-access pass. He returns from a week of conferences. There are 11 held on the preceding two days of the 3 day Kubecon.
As a newbie to Kubecon and the related CNCF conferences he aims to cast a Gopher’s eye over the latest goings on in Cloud Native land.
Perhaps giving audience members some idea of whether they might want to go to Kubecon Europe April 2025 in London?
Due to be the biggest ever open source conference with ~ 12000 attendees.
