🗣️ Dafydd Thomas - Scaling Microservice Architecture at Grafana Labs

Dafydd works as a Staff Software Engineer at Grafana Labs and will be taking us through how Grafana approached running single-tenant services at scale on Kubernetes. His talk will cover some of the challenges they faced while scaling their managed Grafana Cloud offering from 1,000 to 100,000 instances and the solutions they found.

🗣️ Nathan Pankhurst - Managing deployments of Distributed Monoliths with Helmfile.

Nathan is a new Platform Engineer, with 8 years experience in back-end software development. His talk will be be covering the `distributed monolith` anti-pattern that can occur when attempting to design a Microservice Architecture. The talk will cover the anti-pattern, it's weaknesses, an example system, and pose Helmfile as a potential workaround to manage the issues.
