Hello everyone! This month, we're excited to host the Golang Taiwan Gathering at the Dcard office.

First up, we have a session led by xnum titled "Journey to On-Prem Kubernetes - Developing a Trading System with Go." Xnum will delve deep into topics such as:
- Why switch from C++ to Go, and what are the incredible advantages?
- What are the core differences in programming mindset between Go and C++?
- How can a program effectively interact with Kubernetes to achieve goals that were previously unattainable with existing architectures?

Also, if you have a topic you'd like to share, we're open for Lightning Talk (10-15 mins) registrations!

Topic Description:
This session will cover a story from 2021, where we transformed a standalone system developed in C++ into a distributed system developed in Go, incorporating functionalities provided by Kubernetes to achieve objectives that were challenging with the existing architecture.

Why did we switch to developing in Go? What differs in programming thought between Go and C++? How does the program interact with Kubernetes?
These questions and more will be answered.
