⭐ TALKS

▪ Transitioning to Go - Robert Pajak

Are you considering transitioning to the Go programming language? Join me for a talk where I will share my advice on how to approach learning to write Go code and produce idiomatic solutions in no time. Drawing from my personal experience of transitioning to Go and assisting numerous colleagues in their learning journey, as well as serving as a Go Community Leader in my previous company, I'll provide valuable insights and practical tips to help you succeed.

▪ Oleg Kovalov - Hedged requests in Go

Tail at scale is a great and old paper published by Google which explains motivation behind hedged requests. This tool allows to reduce latency on a big scale even by 2x. In this talk one particular open-source implementation will be explained in details.

🚀 SPEAKERS

▪ Robert Pajak is an open-source developer. Currently working at Splunk and maintaining OpenTelemetry Go. Author of goyek. You can explore his contributions on GitHub: https://github.com/pellared.

▪ Oleg Kovalov is an open-source addicted gopher. Fun of code analysis and co-author of a go-critic linter. Father of an amazing labrador.

💪 SPONSORS

We have stickers, beer, non-alcohol refreshments, and food thanks to our sponsors Spacelift.io and GoGoApps.

Kudos to GoBridge for the support.

Thank you Connectis_ for hosting us!
