Go range-over-everything!
Go 1.22 is targeted to be released in February and brings multiple changes to the range keyword, making the language more expressive and robust. Let’s dive in and explore how these new features can help us develop more effective Go programs.
About our speaker, Achille Roussel:
Achille is the CTO @StealthRocket
San Francisco, California, United States
He's worked as a software engineer on distributed systems for the last 12 years, at both startups and large companies like Twitch, Facebook, Segment, and Twilio.
He authored and participates in multiple open-source projects such as kafka-go, parquet-go, wazero, and recently contributed the GOOS=wasip1 port of Go.
In 2023, Achille co-founded Stealth Rocket to create a new programming model based on durable coroutines that greatly simplify the development and operation of distributed systems.
Since Achille is not here in the Charlotte area this will be a virtual meetup via Zoom, I'll post the details as the time gets closer.
