Golang Online Meetup - June 2020
Details
Hi fellow Gophers,
As we all know, GopherConSG has been delayed due to the unfortunate COVID situation, but fret not, we are excited to bring you our June edition with 2 of the most prominent voices in the Go community:
Building simulations with a Go cellular automata framework
by Sau Sheong Chang (@sausheong) - CEO of SP Digital
In this talk, Sau Sheong will go through the construction of Petri, a Go-based framework for building simulations based on cellular automation that he has built from his experience creating simulations for cultural disseminations and the spread of epidemics.
A technical deep-dive of http://pace.dev from an experienced Gopher
by Mat Ryer (@matryer) - Co-founder http://pace.dev, io.Writer, io.Speaker
In this talk, Mat Ryer will give a deep dive technical tour of the http://pace.dev codebase, covering the entire Go stack. Everything from low level data interactions, dependency management, software architecture, API definition and code generation, unit and integration testing, the home grown blog, and other related tools, and more. In this active discussion session, you will be encouraged to interrupt and ask questions along the way.
Special shout-out to Google Developers Space (https://devspace-sg.dev) for hosting and recording!
