Go 1.8 Release Party

The meetup will begin with a short 5 minute presentation by Michael Sample (https://www.linkedin.com/in/mike-sample-46b8722) to go through some Go 1.8 highlights, followed by something we haven't tried before, a mini Un-conference

Un-conference (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unconference) is a great way to get everyone involved in sharing ideas and learning from each other.

During the un-conference members will propose session topics, vote for their favourite ones, pick the top few and form concurrent discussion groups. Generally a session will last for 30-40 minutes. Let's see how many sessions we can do! This all depends on how many great ideas members can propose.

So, bring you ideas and join us on Feb 16th, and don't forget to share this event with your friends and co-workers!
