Join bestselling author Benjamin Stevenson at Southport Library as he discusses his brand-new novel Everyone in this bank is a thief and the inspirations behind his hit mystery series. Stevenson is one of Australia’s leading new voices in fiction, with over 1.5 million books sold across 29 territories. His debut, Everyone In My Family Has Killed Someone, is currently being adapted into a major HBO series.
His latest novel drops Ernest into an Agatha Christie-style murder mystery with an Ocean’s Eleven twist: a bank heist gone wrong, hostages trapped inside, and a murderer among them. Note the 3pm QLD Time start!!Walking from Tugun Surf Life Saving Club we’ll journey south towards North Kirra enjoying the amazing views along the coastline. We’ll be heading past Bilinga SLSC then out onto Kirra Beach at the 3km mark to return to our start point for well earned refreshments. Option to walk along the sand or path on the return. This walk is around 6km on flat paths and sand. We’ll book a table and enjoy social chat and refreshments at the surf club afterwards :)
Bring: a $2 donation towards the meetup fees and organiser costs, hat, water bottle, sandals or shoes.
