GC Oceanway-Part 13! The Spit + Federation Walk - 6km walk and refreshments :)

Walking from the Seaway Kiosk we’ll go out to the end of The Spit and enjoy the amazing views along the coastline before turning into the Federation Trail. At the halfway point, we head down onto the beach (if possible - depends on scarping and tides on the day) and return back up to enjoy our well earned refreshments at the Seaway Kiosk.
This walk is around 6km on sand, gravel and paths. We’ll book a table and enjoy social chat at the Seaway Kiosk afterwards :)

Bring: $2 donation towards meetup costs, hat, water bottle and appropriate footwear. If you prefer to pay an annual amount of $10 (PayID or cash on the day), you will enjoy 12 months of events across x2 groups - Gold Coast Active & Social + Showtime Fun Time! (YOU DO NOT PAY MEETUP - click on the X on any pop up ads asking)
Please be mindfulful to update your attendance as ‘not going’ as soon as possible if you can no longer join us. This is so we can update bookings and not hold up the group waiting for ‘no shows’.
Note: event start time over winter is 2pm Qld time.
This event has been running for over 14 years in one form or another, so it’s a wonderful way to meet new people and enjoy our amazing coastline along the Gold Coast Oceanway!
