GC Oceanway-Part 10! Surfers Paradise SLSC 5km walk + refreshments :)

Starting from yellow Lifeguard Tower 34 (on the Oceanway path just north of Surfers Paradise SLSC and beach side of Cavill Ave Surfers Paradise sign).
We’ll be doing a reverse walk heading south along the beautiful Oceanway path to our turn around point near the Broadbeach Surf Life Saving Club. We’ll move down onto the beach enjoying sweeping views of the coastline as we walk back on the sand to Surfers Paradise Surf Lifesaving Club for well earned refreshments.
This walk is around 5km on paths and sand (the non-sand option is to return back along the path).
We’ll book a table and enjoy social chat and refreshments at Surfers Paradise Surf Lifesaving Club afterwards :)
Bring: $2 donation towards meetup costs, hat, water bottle and appropriate footwear. If you prefer to donate $10 (PayID or cash on the day), you can forget the gold coins for all Gold Coast Active & Social events until March 2027! (YOU DO NOT PAY MEETUP - click on the X on any pop up ads asking)

Note: we are aware this event is on Mother’s Day. The 3pm start time will hopefully be the best option for anyone attending lunches / dinners :)
This event (formerly ’Walk & a Wine’) has been running for over 18 years in one form or another. It’s a wonderful way to meet new people, get a feel for the Active and Social Meetup Group and enjoy our amazing coastline views along the Gold Coast Oceanway!
