What we’re about
Let's get together for two hours of French conversation with coffee, tea and maybe breakfast.
This group is best suited to people who can hold a conversation in French as we simply chat together for the two hours. We help each other if we get stuck on a word or two, but it is not a lesson and we do not chat in English. Feel free to use your phone to look up words or bring a book to take notes. We are all here to practice our skills and progress together. Native speakers are most welcome!
The meetup is casual with spontaneous conversations. On occasion, we also rotate our meetup location, go out for dinner or French entertainment like the theatre or movies. Feel free to suggest any ideas!
Time Saturdays 9.30 to 11.30am
Please bring $2 to cover meetup costs. Please order a coffee or drink or something to eat on arrival to support our venue. Look for our group set up with a French flag on the table.
A little bit about myself: My name is Natalie and I have been learning French for a number of years and love this beautiful language. I appreciate French culture, history, architecture and entertainment.
I'm an intermediate French speaker and am keen to continue learning to achieve a comfortable, fluent level. I really enjoy sharing my knowledge and learning from others.
