What we’re about
Let's get together for two hours of Italian conversation with coffee, tea and maybe breakfast.
This group is best suited to people who can hold a conversation in Italian as we simply chat together for the two hours. We help each other if we get stuck on a word or two, but it is not a lesson and we do not chat in English. Feel free to use your phone to look up words. We are all here to practice our skills and progress together. Native speakers are most welcome!
The meetup is casual with spontaneous conversations. On occasion, we also rotate our meetup location, go out for dinner or Italian entertainment like the theatre or movies. Feel free to suggest any ideas!
Time Saturdays 11.30 to 1.30 pm
Please bring $2 to cover meetup costs. Please order a coffee or drink or something to eat on arrival to support our venue. Look for our group set up with a Italian flag on the table.
A little bit about myself: My name is Natalie and I have been learning Italian for a number of years and love this beautiful language. I appreciate Italian culture, history, architecture and entertainment.
I'm an intermediate Italian speaker and am keen to continue learning to achieve a comfortable, fluent level. I really enjoy sharing my knowledge and learning from others.
