So you think you can JS?

Details
We're going to do around 5-7 5-10 minute talks on a variety of topics. Half will be specific to JS, and half will be specific to best practice and cool tools etc - but they'll still be relevant to JS =P
Also, we're going to be starting up our project for the quarter - this will be started at the beginning of april, so this meetup will be us deciding what to work on. We'll work on it as a group, and use the tools we talk about, so it'll be a good opportunity to see some good code, write some yourself, and get advice/help on code.
Also - We're going to start a JS challenge. Sort of like JS Golf, where we ask a question and you try to complete it in as small amount of code as possible. This will be on the board at our meetup. There will be a prize, and it will be something worth winning.
Free Pizza and drinks 6:30-7pm - meetup officially starts at 7pm - with discussion afterwards and everyone is welcome to stay around and geek out at the TechSpace for as long as they like.
Gold Coast Techspace (http://gctechspace.org) has completed it's move to the Old Post Office in Mudgeeraba and has plenty of space to host meetup groups. The plan is to to encourage what programming meetup groups the Gold Coast has to meet on Wednesday nights in room 1 at the TechSpace. If we have enough - there will be a different meetup every week, a kind of "meetup carnival'!
Other activities happen on Wednesday's too - so it's a good opportunity to meet other groups and share some free food and drink.
